Last month Prisma Legal completed its first #carbonfootprin assessment. Today we are joining a community of climate-conscious business leaders, taking responsibility for our carbon footprint, proudly announcing we are a carbon positive business.
In preparation for the #BCorp month celebrations in March, we decided to take climate action by measuring and managing our carbon emissions. It was an opportunity to analyse our business’ impact on the planet and a defining moment for our team to understand that net zero can become a reality for every business, including SMEs. Small, independent brands can lead the way and still have a big part to play towards net zero and don’t necessarily need whole sustainability teams to move things towards becoming carbon neutral.
As a #BCorp, we believe that business can and must evolve to be a force for good in the world. We go beyond seeking profit at any cost; we know the bottom line can’t take priority over our employees, the community or the environment, and we have a governance structure that protects our principles. We discussed with Trace ways to set targets and implement actions to reduce emissions and decided to go a step beyond carbon neutral.

Today, we proudly announce our certification as a Carbon Positive organisation –an additional commitment to take meaningful action and transform the economic system.
We care deeply about our environment and have teamed up with Trace to measure our carbon footprint across our business. We are offsetting our CO2 emissions via our portfolio of climate credit projects.
